Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is a quiet, atmospheric adventure that trusts you to poke at things. You explore an abandoned lighthouse tapping objects, reading scattered notes, and piecing together why the keeper vanished. There's no combat and no fail state — just curiosity and a slowly unfolding story.

The puzzles are woven into the environment rather than dropped in as arbitrary locks. I especially liked how the lighthouse layout itself became a kind of map you learn by heart. Nothing is signposted too heavily, so solving something feels earned.

It's short, maybe three hours, but every one of them is polished. Fully offline, easy on the battery, and one of the more memorable little games I've played on a phone this year.
