Offline simulators that actually simulate something

Simulator is a slippery word on mobile — half the games using it are just idle tappers with a theme. But a handful of genuine sims run offline and give you real systems to poke at, and those can be quietly addictive.

The good ones let you set up something, watch it play out, and adjust. Whether it's a supply chain, a small town, or a fishing spot, the fun comes from cause and effect you can actually see. Iron Tide Command isn't strictly a sim, but it scratches that same planning itch with its supply and routing.

Storage is the honest tradeoff here. Deeper sims tend to be bigger downloads, so budget your space accordingly. The upside is that once installed, they'll happily entertain you on a flight with no connection at all.

My advice is to give any sim its full tutorial before judging it. These games front-load complexity, and the ones that felt overwhelming in minute one often become my favorites by hour three.
